FAST-RISING gospel musician, Caroline Chidzikwe, has set the ball rolling as she is working on releasing a new single soon.
The bubbly musician continues to preach and inspire many through her music.
Chidzikwe does not hide her passion for music and is no doubt one of the Mutare’s sought-after musicians after getting rave reviews on various radio stations and holding sold-out live shows in the city.
Backed by her band, The Throne Worshippers, Chidzikwe aims to win souls through preaching the gospel and spreading the word of hope, love, resilience and faith.
In most of her songs, she urges listeners to remain faithful in season and out of season, and to pin their hope on God.
Chidzikwe, speaking through her manager Baldwin Chidzikwe, said she is determined to release more songs this year.
“We have already started working on new productions for the new year.
“Last year was so inspiring as we managed to get new listeners, thanks to God who gave us the strength to release a polished project that inspired many.
“We also managed to gain a lot of experience through numerous live shows.
“We also engaged our listeners through various social media handles.
“A new single is coming soon and our fans will have something to smile about. Plans are also in the pipeline to release a new album this year.
“We also intend to release videos for selected songs on that upcoming album.
“We want to thank the people who have contributed to the growth of our brand. It inspires us to work harder and become more consistent,” she said.
Her previous singles include Munozvigona Mwari, Handitye, Anokuda Jesu, Zita Renyu Jesu and Fambai Neni.
The silky-voiced diva features talented songstress Dorcas Moyo on Mwari Munoshamisa, which was a title on her second album following the release of her debut project, Zvinoda Mutsimba in 2020.
Mwari Munoshamisa was launched at a colourful ceremony in Mutare last year in June.
Other tracks on the album include Ndichadana, Ndina Mwari, Zviratidzei, Hariperi Simba, Jesu Mupenyu and a bonus track, Zita Renyu.
Chidzikwe has worked with various singers such as Bethany Pasinawako-Ngolomi and Clever Dzvairo on Zvinoda Mutsimba and Tonamata respectively.
