ZANU-PF national political commissar, Cde Mike Bimha, has urged affiliate organisations to register their establishments with the party and acquire certificates for them to be officially recognised.

Speaking during a meeting with the affiliates at Mutare Hall last week on Friday, Cde Bimha also urged the affiliates to have constitutions, missions and visions for their organisations.

“As affiliate organisations, you are encouraged to have constitutions as well as clear missions and visions. When you have that in place, you should register with the party. We will offer you a certificate confirming your registration with the party,” he said.

Cde Bimha said this will deter detractors from joining the organisations.

“Beware of detractors who will join your affiliate organisations to cause despondency within the organisation and the party in future. We do not want that. Be wary of such people, and that is why we are encouraging you to have a register of your members.
“People from the opposition parties are busy trying to confuse affiliates because they know that many organisations are rallying behind President Mnangagwa and the party,” he said.

“We will always support you because you have economic development at heart. We will continue supporting you until you develop because that is our mission to empower all Zimbabweans. We want a developed Zimbabwe,” said Cde Bimha.

He added: “President Mnangagwa always reminds us that nyika inovakwa nevene vayo, meaning that only patriotic Zimbabweans will develop this country. We are the people and you as affiliates should support the economic development of the nation.

“As the President preaches about building our country brick by brick, he is telling us to patiently wait for our projects to bear the desired fruits. We should continue rallying behind the party and win this year’s harmonised elections resoundingly.”

He said supporting President Mnangagwa and Zanu PF means supporting the country’s economic development.

ZANU PF national deputy secretary for land and Mutare North legislator, Cde Mike Madiro also urged the affiliates to be united and disciplined.

He said through unity, the party will win the harmonised elections resoundingly.

“During the liberation struggle, we won resoundingly because we were united. Discipline results in unity and victory for our party. When we are united, we will never lose,” said Cde Madiro.
