THE usually sleepy Florida medium-density suburb of Mutare will no longer be the same again following the setting up of a top-class leisure centre to cater for private, public family and individual events.

Minister of State for Manicaland Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Advocate Misheck Mugadza officially commissioned the Brews and Barrels joint on Good Friday.

“It is a pleasure to be here to officially open this joint. I urge you to have fun and enjoy responsibly,” he said.

The centre is expected to give a facelift as well as light up the shopping centre in one of Mutare’s oldest suburbs.

The leisure centre’s proprietor, Tarzen Mugadza said: “It is a pleasure to have such a capacity crowd on the first day of opening. We intend to bring a new feel of entertainment to Mutare.

“We are glad that the response is awesome. It is a one-stop shop where everything can be done, talk of private parties, family braais and musical shows, among other things.

“Patrons can also watch live soccer while seated comfortably in the executive bar. We have a competent and friendly staff that is ready to ensure that patrons have an unforgettable experience. We also have experienced and versatile wheel spinners. For nature enthusiasts, there is a spacious outdoor area for picnics, braai, dining as well as indoor facilities”.

The one-stop joint consists of a butchery that sells a variety of meat as well as braai facilities.

There is also a liquor shop which sells an assortment of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and an executive bar that also sells whiskies and beers.

The bar has a VIP cubicle which is ideal for private drinking.

The outlet also has an idyllic and spacious garden which is suitable for family outings.

The open-air garden contains a braai area and a DJ booth where patrons, including families can mix, mingle, wine and dine without interruptions while listening to their favourite music.
