MANICALAND yesterday recorded 60 new recoveries cases of Covid-19, almost half of the total of 130 recorded across the whole country, figures released by the Ministry of Health and Child Care giving the daily update reveal.
The figures also show that yesterday’s new recovery cases in Manicaland are the highest among all the country’s 10 provinces.
It takes the province’s total number of recoveries to 29 130 and those of the entire country to 248 664.
This means that the national recovery rate remains at 97 percent.
No deaths related to the pandemic have been recorded in the province since the beginning of this week.
Seven cases of Covid-19 were yesterday detected in Manicaland and the province has 80 active cases, with a cumulative total of 29 770.
Meanwhile, 6 284 090 people have received the first dose of Covid-19 while 4 633 017 have been inoculated with the second jab. 874 382 have received the third shot of the vaccination.
