A 56-year-old woman has dragged her 64-year-old husband to court seeking protection against his wild sexual advances of forcing himself on her for unprotected sex yet she is suffering from an STI. Linda Ndlovu told the court that Tawanda Nyika was abusive and cheating husband who always assaulted her.
She said the STI she is suffering from was a result of her husband’s bed hopping behaviour with several other women.
Ndlovu complained that her husband was in the habit of unilaterally selling matrimonial property without her consent.
“He comes home as late as 2am coming from his girlfriend and right now I have been suffering from an STI infection. I am on treatment. He also harasses me whenever he feels like and I no longer sleep on my matrimonial bed anymore,” said Ndlovu.
When asked by magistrate Miss Nyasha Kuture why he is acting violently towards his wife, Nyika refuted the allegations.
Miss Kuture told Nyika to change his ways and behave properly. He was ordered not to repeat same offences for the next five years.
This includes, assaulting, insulting and having unprotected sex against his wife’s will.
Any transgression will result in arrest and a criminal case will be opened against him.
The couple was also advised to behave like adults and show good characters to youngsters.
