ZANU PF Women’s League national secretary for administration, Cde Monica Mutsvangwa has urged voters in Headlands Constituency to vote for President Mnangagwa so that he can continue with the implemention of life-changing developmental projects.

Cde Mutsvangwa said this while addressing hundreds of party supporters at Nehumba Primary School in Mufusire Village where she was drumming up support for Zanu PF Parliamentary candidate, Cde Farai Mapfumo and local authority candidates.

She said the Second Republic has notable key projects that were done in Headlands, including Muchekeranwa Dam, road rehabilitation, solar powered boreholes and free inputs distribution, among other things.

Cde Mutsvangwa also assured members of an apostolic sect who have been threatened with eviction from a farm that they will not be displaced.

“The Second Republic is performing wonders countrywide as it has the people at heart. A number of key projects have been completed and citizens’ lives have been tremendously changed.

“Some of the work done by Government include water infrastructure development, electricity generation and roads construction, said Cde Mutsvangwa.

“Government is soldiering on despite economic sanctions. The re-engagement and engagement efforts are bearing fruit as most of the countries are now warming up to the Zanu PF-led Government. Western countries are slowly closing their doors on the opposition leaders because they are fed-up with their lack of direction,” she said.

Cde Mutsvangwa added: “Here in Headlands, Government constructed Muchekeranwa Dam which has changed the face of the constituency. We are rehabilitating all roads under the Emergency Road Rehabilitation Programme (ERRP). Each village will have a solarised borehole so that every citizen has access to clean and safe water.”

Zanu PF Manicaland provincial youth chairperson, Cde Stanely Sakupwanya urged youths to vote for Zanu PF.

“The future of Zimbabwe is secured by Zanu PF because it is the party that brought us independence. Young people must not be fooled by agents of regime change who are bent on reversing the gains of the liberation struggle,” he said.

Cde Mapfumo said Headlands will deliver a resounding victory for Zanu PF.

“We are more than ready to vote for Zanu PF, come August 23. People here are satisfied by the performance of the Second Republic. When Mwarazi Bridge was swept away by floods, Government sent engineers the following day to work on it, something that we were not used to,” said Cde Mapfumo.
