CAN someone tell Yours Truly what makes cheating so appealing to the extent of it becoming some people’s daily bread?
Even as the world agonizes over the misery of the Covid-19 pandemic, the weakness for sweetness is still getting the better of some men and women of repute.
In this particular case, I’m talking about that well known pint sized businessman who, over the years, has done so well, rising to become a successful entrepreneur. Blabber knows about all of his struggles and hustles.
The businessman in question used to be a resident of that suburb whose name has something to do with water.
Blabber even knows the ABCs of his crocked rise to the world of the rich and famous. However, that is a story for another day.
For today, we focus on his shenanigans with the fairer sex.
Blabber knows about his insatiable appetite for women, especially those who have a great future behind them.
Since way back, he has been linked to a number of married women, including some of his colleagues and clients.
Once again, Blabber has caught the man offside.
Word reaching Yours Truly is that he is head over heels in love with a young married lady.
In fact, the young lady’s marriage is now on the rocks.
But despite that, our dear businessman continues pampering the woman with gifts of all kinds.
I am talking of real gifts, not just those eats and perfumes that some young boys in town quickly think of when it comes to spoiling a woman.
Blabber is informed that one of her two children is now attending school at that other exquisite institution on the crest of a hill, while the younger one is at a considerably well-up local kindergarten.
Dear reader, when it comes to who is rooting the bills, your guess is as good as mine. Apparently, the businessman, a typical social misfit, is no stranger to dating married women.
Like I have always said, Yours Truly will neither stutter nor stop at anything in preserving the little that remains of our moral fabric.
Blabber is not only angry that this businessman has seen it fit to destroy this young lady’s marriage, but also feels for the husband, who is quite a likeable fella of good morals. No wonder his job has to do with the gentlemen’s game.
Just as we are all certain that the sun will rise from the east tomorrow morning, Yours Truly is certain that if this businessman continues with his shenanigans, this businessman’s fall will come through women.
