A CHIPINGE man who could not fathom seeing his sister falling for another man last Saturday allegedly killed a 22-year old man in a fist fight before vanishing.
Seize Dhlakama, in a fist fight, overpowered Blessing Muyazo whom he had seen hanging around with his sister Tinashe. He bled profusely and died upon admission at Mt Selinda Hospital.
Police confirmed the incident which happened at Chako business centre in Chief Mapungwana’s area. Muyazo met Tinashe Dhlakama, who is sister to the accused at Chako Business centre. They walked for about thirty metres before Tinashe saw them.
Seize was incensed after seeing Tinashe walking hand in hand with Muyazo. He confronted him accusing him of playing around with his sister. A misunderstanding arose and they started exchanging blows. Blessing was overpowered and was left lying on the ground. He was taken to Mt Selinda Hospital where he died upon admission. Accused is still at large.
“We have since launched a manhunt to bring Seize to book and we are appealing to members of the public with information leading to his arrest to contact nearest police station. We urge people to solve differences amicably than resorting to violence,” Manicaland provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Tavhiringwa Kakohwa said.
