BLABBERMOUTH: Power is temporary, gents Towntalk with Blabbermouth

The ManicaPost

WHAT is this that we hear about the acts of nincompoopery being unleashed by none other than this other heartless law officer who continues to descend on his perceived adversaries with heavy handedness.

Perhaps it is all in his first name which is reminiscent of a popular Biblical king, he behaves like a monarch in our beloved city, even at his workplace.

He is feared and it is now a public secret.

All along Blabber thought that at some point, those in authority in our beloved law enforcement unit would find a way to rid the force of this bad apple, but alas, nothing is happening.

Word reaching Yours Truly is that he recently clashed with some touts in the Central Business District.

As we all know, those boys do not care about your rank, so they manhandled him.

Overzealous as he is, Blabber is informed that he resorted to his unbridled use of firearms.

This time he fired a shot on the tarmac and bullet fragments badly injured one of the touts.

Only God knows what happened to the age old law enforcement principle of using minimal force.

Blabber is reliably informed that since he is law unto himself, he managed to get the touts arrested and thrown behind bars.

For the benefit of those struggling to make head and tail on the identity of the rogue officer, he is short, stout, dark in complexion and bearded.

In the past, Blabber has penned about how he usually spots a haircut similar to that of ghetto youths.

What surprises Blabber is how this chap has become ungovernable within the force to the extent of reporting for duty as and when he wants to.

He also goes around collecting bribes from illegal diamond and gold dealers as well as second hand clothes smugglers.

Blabber is aware that dealers are required to subscribe, weekly or monthly, and if a dealer fails to meet his demand, they are threatened with arrest.

Dear reader, Blabber has said it before, this boy’s wings need to be clipped fast before he damages the image of the police force.

On the flip side, Blabber is happy that the guy is not putting to waste the proceeds of corruption.

Yours Truly has seen how things have been going on smoothly in his life owing to the proceeds of corruption. Blabber once talked about the two houses he was building at once.

One is in that other city where they never sleep in a suburb whose name can literally be transferred to mean sunset, while the other house is right here in our beautiful city on that mountain that keeps rising.

While many of us, including high ranking officials, are finding it difficult to build one decent house, he constructed two simultaneously.

But one thing for sure, to everything there is an end.

Simple advice to him from Yours Truly is that, my brother, always remember power is temporary.

Mark my words!
