WHAT is this that we hear about this other fly-by-night politician who wanted to be voted into office when he is not even a registered voter, only to discover that his mission was futile during the Nomination Court sitting?
Blabber is not really after mocking this thug, but just to enlighten our dear brothers and sisters who seek to occupy public offices that they should do all the relevant homework first.
Anyway, this is a story for another day.
For now, we delve into the gospel of the day.
While Blabber was busy concentrating on events unfolding in that other developed continent, the advanced Satan Two missiles and the false start to peace negotiations, Yours Truly’s almost missed the story of this other respected former city father who is being chucked out of his former employers’ house.
Blabber does not enjoy other people’s misfortunes or downfall, especially for this old bloke given that he was generally a nice person who cared much about satisfying his sensual pleasures.
But somehow, we just have to learn a lesson or two from what he is going through.
During his days at this other major service provider in our beloved city, he used to call the shots. Everyone in that organisation feared him.
He was The Man!
Nonetheless, as fate would have it, he was relieved of his duties.
Since then, he has tried but failed to return to his office.
Not even the legal route could assist him to return to his old revered office.
He then clung on to his former employer’s residential property in one of our beloved city’s leafy suburbs.
For some years, he succeeded in staying at this residential property.
However, Blabber understands that he has finally been evicted.
Yours Truly wonders how he is going to start a new life given that he is an elderly who has been in and out of hospital of late.
There are things he could have done better socially and financially when he was still in position of authority but he chose to spend his money on an expensive lifestyle.
Dear reader, there is an age old adage that says when a man brings home ant infested faggots, he should not complain when lizards pay him a visit.
He brought those ant infested faggots home when he was still in office and earning a hefty salary and the lizards are now visiting him.
Blabber is waiting to see the place he will soon call home.
