BLABBERMOUTH: It’s a sin to be his tenant Towntalk with Blabbermouth

The ManicaPost

THERE is this other dear brother of ours we have known since way back in our beautiful city.

We all know he grew up with a silver spoon, being one of the earliest black families to find a place to call their own in that other leafy suburb located in a valley where a fan is hardly needed, given the serene ambience of the atmosphere.
Without taking anything away from this dear brother of ours, he is naturally a hard worker or a schemer.
Make no mistake, he is such a jolly good fella, one whose company can make a day shorter with his restless tongue, churning out shaggy dog stories, one after the other, missing no opportunity to project himself as an object of admiration.
Intermittently licking his oily lips throughout his unending tirades, the boy is always ready to explain why he thinks he is better than fellow businessmen in our beloved city.
To some extent, he should have the bragging rights.
Who does not know how he made a fortune out of the mobile money transfer platform in its early days?
But, gentle reader, there is something about this boy that makes him a social misfit.
Apart from his weakness for sweetness, he treats his tenants with shocking impertinence
Word reaching Yours Truly is that this recent month-end he evicted four tenants – three from his business properties, and one from a residential property.
The three business property tenants had to watch in agony as their stock and property spent the night outside after being thrown out unexpectedly.
Such is the cruelty and impunity that this spoiled brat sometimes exudes that a stranger would be forgiven to think he is always high on Mary Jane.
He has this heartless way of treating tenants to the extent that he lures them like a caring landlord, only to change his colours like a chameleon, especially when the tenant’s business appears to be booming.
Blabber knows and understands the value and pride that lies in owning an immovable property in a city, let alone our beautiful city, but surely this cannot surpass the goodness in humane ways of doing business.
After all, we are all human and at one point or the other, we need the other person, no matter who they are.
It can only be fair, at this juncture, for Yours Truly to remind you gentle reader, without blowing his own horn, that Blabber is an honest man and thrives on fulfilling promises.
To that end, none of those updates and new twists that Blabber promised will ever be forgotten.
