Business will be mixed with entertainment at this year’s Zimbabwe National Parks and Wildlife Authority (ZimParks) Business Expo and Family Fun Day slated for today (Friday) and tomorrow (Saturday) at Mutare’s Meikles Park Grounds.
ZimParks Business Enterprise Manager for Eastern Highlands Cluster, Mr Johnson Mandimutsira, said the two-day event will be a perfect platform for business to market their products and services as well as build synergies.
Events to look up to are live animal displays, displays of mounted trophies, selling of plants and career guidance sessions.
Furthermore, beer and braai will be available.
Children will also have something to smile about as they will be entertained by clowns.
They will also get a chance to get their faces painted and burn some energy in the jumping castle.
Adults will pay US$1, while children will part with US0.50 cents.
“This is a platform for businesses to market their services and products while mixing and mingling with family and friends.
“This is a message to everyone that ZimParks is vibrant in Manicaland and it is there to stay. This will be a platform for people across all ages to know about the tourism packages offered by Manicaland.
“We are urging businesses and families to come out in their numbers and be part of the event,” said Mr Mandimutsira.
The potentially-explosive event will be held under the theme ‘Unlocking the potential of Eastern Highlands through promoting domestic tourism’.
