Your Surprise Wedding” is still going on.It is a community initiative that goes beyond satisfying one’s immediate needs and touches people for decades to come.
If it is in your power to give, kindly give! If you cannot give at least pronounce blessings over those who are giving.
Do you want to get involved?
It is not too late for you to get involved in this initiative regardless of which city, town, village or growth point you are.
If you know anyone in your community or church who has been married for 30 years or more, and never had a wedding ceremony or reception, get hold of us.
You can also be involved as a sponsor in the following areas:
- A newspaper spread each month.
- “Your Surprise Wedding” articles each week through advertising.
- An aspect of the wedding i.e decor, catering, drinks, bridal wear, make-up, nails, rings, PA system, video and photography, among others.
- The whole wedding
- Or any other way you may deem fit.

That is not all though…between this November and December 2018, those who bring 10 original clips of the Wedding Column to The Manica Post Editor, will have a chance to be featured in this column.
