Mutare’s finest deejays, Famous, Zincyard, Brizz, Quick and Spy, converge in Dangamvura tonight (Friday) for a potentially-explosive Bon-Fire Friday.

 

The indoor and open air joint will host the four wheel spinners for the first time this year. The show starts at 6pm.

Pedu Paye

The entertainment joint situated in Odzi hosts a Grandmasters braai out party which will run tomorrow till Sunday.

 

The place which usually hosts imbibers and patrons who frequent the Osborne Dam tourism facility will see selected deejays rotating on the turntables.

Club Mandisa

Local Afro-jazz sensation, Expressions Band performs at the joint situated at the heart of city centre tonight where they are expected to present songs from their forthcoming debut album.

 

DJ Famous

 

Saturday will see local dendera artiste, Lamerk Mutero entertaining revellers. Mutero, who is popular among local dendera fans is popular for songs such as ‘Hupenyu ibhora’, ‘Mai Rosa’ and ‘Musengwa’.

Mi Casa

The recently-introduced Funky Fridays and Groovy Saturdays will roar to life this weekend, while MaRasta Wednesdays, a day dedicated to reggae and conscious music, are proving popular.

 

Singer and guitarist Steve Chikotie will serenade jazz enthusiasts this and every Sunday.

Courtauld Theatre/FC Lounge

The arts and culture hub this weekend hosts visual and performing arts enthusiasts as various artists will be showcasing their work.

 

Selected deejays will also entertain patrons who will be enjoying booze in the theatre’s bar section.

Madziro

The open air joint situated along the Mutare-Chimanimani Highway will tomorrow see veteran deejay Candyman entertaining patrons.

 

Children also have the platform to merry make in a jumping castle and through face painting.

Chitsa Bar

Deejays Kiss and Spillz entertain revellers this weekend, starting tonight.

 

Tomorrow, Kiss will be on the turntables with new skool music, while Spillz will on Sunday take patrons down memory lane with some old skool beats.
