 Dear TeteTwo weeks ago my wife of two years and eight months told me that it is over between us. I do not know what has triggered her reaction. I only suspect that perhaps the fact that I am unemployed has finally put her off. I cannot beg her to stay because I have no grounds to do so even though I deeply love her. I am heartbroken because I thought that she would stand by me through it all.

You are a brave man, but now you need to be much braver. I do not understand why you felt that being unemployed is reason enough to lose love. Fight for what you believe in my friend! Sometimes all a woman wants is an assurance that there is still a knight in the shining armour inside her lover. Perhaps she felt that you were drowning in your current situation, but all the same that is no reason to leave. Now, you must focus on resuscitating your life. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and start cheering for your future. Do you have a plan to get you back in the income generating cycle? If not, get one now. On the other hand if you still love your woman, do not let love lose.
