Teenchat with Tentie

The ManicaPost

HEY there my dearest sweet teenagers, I hope the new school term is going as planned. I know some of y’all are still replacing their old exercise books from last term and covering the new ones, so exhausting, believe you me, we all have been there, hahahaha. Anyways keep working hard and remember success will never lower its standards to accommodate you. You have to raise your standards to achieve it. God provides food for every bird, but not in its nest. Rise up to the challenges ahead of you and conquer your fears…kisses!

Nothing is permanent in this life. WhatsApp killed BBM. YouTube killed DVD. Bluetooth killed Infrared. Xender killed Bluetooth. CDs killed Cassettes. Android killed Windows phone. Uber killed yellow cab. Phone killed post office. SMS killed letter writing. Email killed fax. Civilisation killed culture. Computer killed typewriter. E-card killed the hallmark card. Money killed true love. Internet killed the library. No condition is permanent, be humble – Rachel, St Matthias High.

A cow gives milk to the whole village, but it doesn’t shout. But, when a hen lays one egg that cannot feeds not even a kid, it shouts for the whole village to know that it has laid just a single egg. So it is so amazing how people who gave you very little assistance shout about it for years, while those who made significant contributions to your life rarely talk about it. Live like a candle which burns itself, but gives light to others. Food for thought 2019. — Blessing.

Remember that you cannot change what you think until you change what you hear, read and watch. You are a product of what you learn. Happy week everybody. — Chido aka Teen Chi.
