Fasting is not mindless exercise of torturing the body by remaining hungry and thirsty but extremely meaningful and produces tremendous benefits for fasting person. Ramadan causes a change in life’s routine which results in a healthy lifestyle, particularly with regard to diet and eating habits.

It has the ability to make oneself younger physically and mentally. Thus God in His wisdom has enshrined fasting as a therapy and a blessing that plays an important role in our lives. Fasting is the key to healthy body and mind.

It purifies every cell in the human body , to cleanse out accumulation of toxic debris from circulatory system and vital organs so effectively and efficiently, that one feels the sense of rejuvenation of body and mind.

To people that are obese and overweight the best diet is regular fasting, at any given time over million people all over the world who are compulsive eaters, overweight and obese. The best diet is for free thorough fasting. In fasting there are no calories, no grams of proteins no carbohydrates to count and nothing to weigh. To lose weight the quickest way.

The long fasting puts the entire body through a detoxification program, eliminating all toxic poisons collected from the body.

From the environment point of view, fasting is essential for urban population constantly exposed to poisonous gases, car exhaust fumes and various other air pollutants. Having a discipline to fast creates a better feeling and physical expulsion of body toxins which makes the human being even stronger.

According to a Russian doctor Yuri Nikolayev — the director of the fasting unit of Moscow Psychiatric Institute says “I have fasted several times with the scientific purpose in view to make an experiment. I always feel excellent. He further quotes “The illness that cannot be cured by fasting cannot be cured by anything else”. Doctor Yuri discovered that his patients responded to the fasting treatment after all other forms of therapy has failed.

As we approach the last week of fasting, peace and blessings to all our brothers and sisters in this holy and blessed month that will be leaving us soon.
