IN a rare combination, Zim-dancehall musician King Shaddy and strip tease sensation Cinderella Tashana, popularly known as Pinky Minaj, will this weekend take turns to entertain fun lovers at Legends Nite Club in the sprawling high-density suburb of Chikanga.
While the sought after pole dancer will mesmerise fans in the ghetto tonight (Friday), King Shaddy will perform on Saturday in potentially-explosive shows dubbed: “Exquisite moments”.
This is the first time for the two artistes to perform at the joint during the same weekend. The joint’s proprietor, Kelvin Ziki, said they bowed down to fun lovers’ demands to bring the two celebrated entertainers who have carved niches for themselves in the arts industry.
He has managed to turn his joint into a formidable entertainment hub in a suburb that has been entertainment-starved for more than two decades. Self-proclaimed Zim Dancehall queen, Lady Squanda is one of the high profile musicians who have previously performed at the posh venue.
“We decided to bring a combination that will cater for many pleasure seekers. The two are great performers and have never disappointed before. We are happy with the support we are getting from our patrons. We have a bag full of surprises as we approach the festive season,” said the soft-spoken Ziki.
King Shaddy, affectionately known by his legion of fans as Makorokoza king, rose to fame after releasing hits such as Wadiwa mai Huni, Zino irema, Goita, Song For mama and Vanonyeya vamwe.
Born Shadreck Kwarire, the dreadlocked musician, is an excellent performer who always puts up well-choreographic acts.
Many have also fallen in love with the erotic dancer and strip teaser, Pinky. Her waist-wriggling dances usually leave her fans, particularly men, asking for more.
She is expected to draw scores of crowds from the high-density suburb and beyond. Her dances are inspired by Trinidadian born American rapper Nicki Minaj.
