DEBUTANTS GreenFuel breathed life into their battle against relegation when they dispatched equally struggling Black Rhinos 1-0 in a Castle Lager Premiership match played at Gibbo Stadium in Triangle this afternoon.
The Chisumbanje-based outfit scored on the stroke of half-time and managed to hold on to the slender lead for the remainder of the match, to take their points tally to nine after 10 matches.
Today’s victory lifts the Ethanol Boys into 15th position from 17th after this afternoon’s round of fixtures.
Results have been improving for the league newcomers since coach Rodwell Dhlakama took over after six matches when they were anchored at the foot of the table.
Dhlakama has preside d over four matches, with the team winning two, drawing one and losing as many of those games.
