THE watering hole situated at the heart of the city will from tonight host Harare-based sungura artiste, Tatenda Pinjisi and Droba.
Pinjisi, popular for yester-year hits such as Saina, Chikuranzira, Dzikirira and Handicheuke will perform tonight (Friday), while Droba, backed by The Jangano Tribe will perform tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday.
Pole dancers drawn from across the country will entertain patrons in the VIP section throughout the Easter holidays.
Chitsa Bar and Liquids
Tried and tested local sungura artiste, Elliot Oliver and a galaxy of DJs will headline the long weekend festivities with a maiden performance at the entertainment joint situated in Dangamvura.
Mutare’s oldest DJ, Ranga T, Stixx and Shamie D are the main acts tonight and tomorrow in shows dubbed Easter Festival.
The three will be backed by resident DJs Popinjo, T Muffin, Spillz and Wizzy.
Elliot and his outfit, Orchestra Simbanenyasha will perform on Sunday.
Bibang Night Club (Chipinge)
Talented singer, Lionel Matanda, fondly known as Caff, resumes live shows with a potentially-explosive gig at the popular nightclub situated in Gaza high-density suburb tomorrow.
Caff, who will be backed by socialite-cum-singer, Mai Caff is expected to entertain revellers with danceable songs such as Ndiwe, Wangele, Manager and Perfect To Me.
The two will be supported by local DJ Troy.
Madziro
The spacious joint situated about 14-km along Mutare-Chimanimani Highway will host DJ Candyman Retrodon for the entire Easter holidays, starting tonight.
The open air joint provides entertainment for kids such as jumping castles, swings and face painting, while Candyman will entertain adults with a variety of old and new school music across all genres.
Micasa
After successfully hosting a sold-out show last Friday where established reggae group, Too Open put up a splendid performance, the joint hosts Afro-contemporary musician, WaCharie tonight.
He will be supported by firebrand resident DJs, Cape Lorel, Terminator and Frazer. Jazz crooner, Steve Chikotie will on Sunday entertain jazz music fanatics with a live performance.
Acid Bar
Resident DJ, Yala will host the Easter holidays Pasa Pasa tomorrow and Sunday.
He will take the festivities to the bar’s backyard space which can house scores of revellers.
A local dance group will entertain revellers tomorrow and Sunday.
All the events are free and they start at 7pm.
