My husband beats me up severely every time he has problems with his girlfriends. I know that he has issues with his girlfriends because when he beats me he tells me that I am the reason why his relationships end. I am tired of his abusive behaviour, but I still love him. I know it seems like a silly reason, but I am afraid to let him go.

My sister, wake up and listen to yourself. You are suffering in a relationship that has no respect for your personal well-being. Is that love? You could get sexually transmitted diseases, hypertension or worse still you could die. Love is kind and unconditional. Find someone to have a one-on-one talk with, someone you can be honest with and someone who can give you the advice you need. Most times a woman remains in a toxic relationship because she fears to have a life without that individual. You were born without that being and you grew up without them, so why should you fear suffocation because of their absence?
