ZIM DANCEHALL artiste Freeman and upcoming local musician Caff will headline this year’s annual winter warmer gig slated for Generations Pub and Grill tomorrow.
The event will also feature a galaxy of local and Harare-based wheel spinners such as Fyre Storm sound, Fyah Child sound, DJ Sachie, DJ Stixx, DJ Hollies B and DJ Zintronix.
Freeman, last launched album “Mukuru wekambani” last year, which comprises tracks “Hodhi”, “Big Life”, “Zuva”, “Ga-Ga-Ga”, “Husband nechikomba”, which received rave reviews across several radio stations. The “Joina City” hit-maker rose to fame with a number of singles and albums which won the hearts of young and old music fans in the country.
He has done collaborations with other top artistes in the country like Winky D, Shinsoman and Lady Squanda.
Caff, who is set to release an eight-track album — A boy from Mutare — said, “It is my pleasure to be part of the gig that will be headlined by one of the most talented chanters in the country. It’s my pleasure to rub shoulders with him.”
Caff will use tomorrow’s springboard to give his fans a preliminary taste of some songs from his pending album.
