A RETIRED soldier who has been turned into a punching bag by his wife, son and daughter-in-law has approached the courts for recourse.

Joseph Tsenesa told the court he was being assaulted by the trio on a daily basis.

He begged Ms Nyasha Kuture to be granted a protection order against the trio.

Joseph said his daughter-in-law, Grace, was the team leader and she had succeeded in turning his family against him.

“Grace terrorises me and has masterminded all assaults on me. She has contaminated my son’s love for me. Your Worship, because of Grace they all want to evict me from my farm which I inherited from my father.

“Because of my son’s wife, everyone hates me.

“She comes to my house and causes commotion together with Martha and David,” said Joseph.

He told the court he had scars all over his body because of the assaults.

Joseph also produced some tattered clothes as evidence in court which he claimed got torn when the trio teamed up to beat him.

“They want to kill me so they can inherit my farm and I am now living in fear they might succeed Your Worship,” he begged the court for protection.

In her response, Grace denied ever assaulting her father-in-law.

“I assure you Your Worship, if I had assaulted this man, he would not be in this court room today but on some hospital bed because I am a very good fighter. I did not assault him, he is lying,” she said.

Joseph also accused his estranged wife, Martha of cheating with three boyfriends.

Ms Kuture advised Tsenesa to apply for an eviction order if he wished to evict his son, daughter-in-law and wife from his farm.

She however, granted him the protection order against the three, which is valid for five years.
