BLABBER is angry!
Yes, Yours Truly cannot be happy with what is unfolding in our midst in broad daylight.
Yours Truly has noticed with utter disgust and abhorrence the selling of intoxicating drugs to the young and the old in places dotted around our beautiful city.
In fact, these hard drugs are being peddled in public without any semblance of caution, fear or secrecy.
Put simply, they are just being sold like tomatoes!
Yours Truly is really sad about the open sale of drugs.
We now have open drug scenes where gatherings of drug users publicly consume and deal drugs.
Way back when girls used to cook like their mothers, before they started drinking like their fathers, Jazz men or dummy men and women would sell their narcotics in secrecy and fear of being arrested; their clients were not just anyone.
Alas, things have changed and they have changed for the worse!
We now have a lady whose name means endurance and perseverance, who is selling drugs at her home in that other medium density suburb located near a cemetery along that other street named after a certain paramount chief.
However, she is not the only one!
That other broke diamond dealer whose name has all to do with freedom is also selling drugs at a local church cathedral.
The list is long.
This is just a tip off for our respected law enforcers.
Blabber wishes to see a drug-free community where people are more likely to work and play together; to reach out to people from every ethnic, economic, and religious group, and work actively to promote a healthy way of life.
Surely we cannot deny that drug abuse is a threat to all communities, it affects young people, adults, schools, people at work and families.
Yours Truly is also disturbed by the behaviour of this young woman who is doing her university studies at a local institution.
She has literally turned into a party animal and is bringing nothing but shame to her well-known father who works for this other shoe manufacturing and retailing company.
Recently, her father caught her pants down with her boyfriend at their home in the third phase of that other suburb named after a yesteryear traditional leader.
The sad part of it all is that she was enjoying quality time with her boyfriend while her mother was on her deathbed in the same house.
The mother eventually died weeks later.
Blabber will give a blow-by-blow account of her boyfriends, especially the two well-known ones — one who is into a driving school business and the other one who does fencing.
For now, I rest my case.
