IN this life we live, at times, you just have to thank yourself for the good you do to humanity because, in its nature, humanity will not always give credit, even where it is due.
Yours Truly understands this truism and this is the reason why Blabber will take time, as the year comes to an end, to reflect on the good things that have come out of this widely read column.
For starters, we all remember that other cheating woman whose acts of infidelity were exposed here and guess what, she changed her ways and became a good mother to her kids and a good wife to her husband.
I mean that other woman who used to work for this other public transport company.
The same applies to the other married woman who used to work for a popular local night club.
Blabber understands that she quit the job, and the family is now intact as it should be.
Yours Truly is also proud to have exposed the use of unqualified teachers at this other private school.
That article resulted in the school’s administration making amends to the extent of finding a suitable location that is conducive for effective learning to take place.
If this is not good for our community, then nothing is.
After all, Blabber is there to preserve the little that remains of our moral fabric.
While we celebrate these achievements, Yours Truly awaits, with abated breath, to see some sense of humility being instilled in that other rogue cop who has become law unto himself.
As we get into the new year, Blabber will be waiting to hear about a paradigm shift in character on the part of this unruly law enforcer.
Blabber loves him as a brother, but Yours Truly hates, with a passion, his bare skinned acts of cruelty and pomposity.
He just has to understand that we are all human, from dust we came, and to dust we shall all go.
There is really no need to treat fellow employees at work like second class’s citizens.
To this end, Blabber will hold on the fire and give him a second chance to reform, otherwise Yours Truly will have no option, but expose him further in the coming year.
Gentle readers, as we get into 2024, Yours Truly will not be lenient with certain “businessmen” whose empires are fuelled by the blood of innocent people they allegedly murdered.
Believe you me, we have such “businessmen” whose daughters are not married, and can never be married because they were “married off to some avenging spirits”.
Blabber will surely expose them without fear, favour nor prejudice.
In equal measure, Blabber will also be ruthless with some businessmen who are feasting on young college students in our beautiful city.
Yours Truly knows them by name, especially that other pint-sized one, who has turned this other State-owned college near the central business district into his own hunting ground.
Let no one say Blabber never warned us.
Mend your ways and let other people’s children grow up in a way that we all want our own children to grow up.
After all, preserving the little that remains of our moral fabric is all that Blabber is concerned about.
