ZIMBABWE recovered in the T20 series to overpower Bangladesh with an impressive 23-run in the second match at Harare Sports Club yesterday.
It was an improved all-round show by the Chevrons, which leaves the series delicately balanced 1-1 ahead of tomorrow (Sunday)’s decisive match.
The visitors’ batting implosion was compounded by numerous dropped catches as Wellington Masakadza’s three-wicket burst broke their middle order. Blessing Muzarabani had given Zimbabwe a good start with the ball.
Meanwhile, next month’s eight-match series between Ireland and Zimbabwe will be rescheduled due to Covid-19 quarantine requirements.
The matches, which were pencilled for two venues in Northern Ireland, are now expected to be held between August and September this year.
