CONTEMPORARY musician, Andy Muridzo, tomorrow (Saturday) performs at the spacious venue located 12km from Mutare’s Central Business District along Mutare-Chimanimani Highway.
Muridzo this week told Post Entertainment that he will put up a scintillating performance together with his entourage, the Jeetaz Band. Muridzo will be supported by several deejays, among them Diamond FM’s DJ Lampy.
Organiser of the show, Boss Rudo, said the gig will start at 6pm, while revellers will part away with US$5 at the gate.
The VVIP entry is pegged at US$15.
Muridzo is currently riding high on the showbiz scene with arguably one of his best projects – ‘Sango Nedziva’ – which carries songs such as ‘Varaidzo’, ‘Muchaturuka Rini Hombarume’, ‘Africa Mhere’, ‘Tinorevedzana’, ‘Samuninga’, ‘Murimambo’ and ‘Dziva Guru’.

Traditional music ensemble, Dandaro headlines the official opening of the new uptown bar situated at the heart of the city.
The event is scheduled for today.
The executive bar hosts imbibers of all ages who will also be treated to some old and new skool music by resident deejay, Hollies Bee, from tonight till Sunday.
Revellers will also be served some sumptuous traditional meals at the restaurant.
The Platinum (Formerly Pick and Save)
Sungura maestro, Alick Macheso will be back at his favourite hunting ground in Mutare tonight (Friday) to meet a legion of his fans in another potentially-explosive gig.
Macheso says he will play some of the new songs from his forthcoming album due to be released on June 10.
Local artistes will curtain raise for the veteran sungura virtuoso before he jumps on the stage at 9pm.
Matimba Bar and Grill (Dora Pinto)
The hide-out situated 12km from the outskirts of Mutare this and other weekends hosts revellers fondly in love with nature and open air as local deejays will be on rotation to entertain them, while they enjoy an exciting package including sumptuous braai, jukebox music and pool.
The venue will tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday host social soccer clubs while revellers enjoy music at the open space.
Poshito De Fronteira Leisure Spot (Forbes Border Post)
Seasoned deejays Fresh and Terminator who play an array of genres ideal for all ages will this weekend entertain imbibers at the venue which is now mostly frequented by truck drivers and other patrons.
Organisers of the event, DJ Fresh and Big Fish say a local dance group will also be part of the weekend festivities.
The venue which has a spacious open space also has a Fronteira kitchen which offers scintillating food for imbibers.
Full Time Sports Bar
A leisure spot popular among ghetto youths and situated in Dangamvura’s Area 16 hosts football, pool and music lovers this and other weekends.
Selected wheel spinners will be on the turntables as imbibers enjoy their favourite activities that also include braai.
Saturday (tomorrow) will see DJ Lion entertaining Mutare’s popular social soccer, Chipolopolo FC, at the venue.
