Instead, Yours Truly will be dwelling on company managers who do not understand that we do not need to be friends in order for us to enjoy a good working relationship and produce a fine product for our employer.
This clique of slave drivers and control freaks yell at anyone who dares to suggest a different way of doing things.
Some have been labelled incompetent despite the knowledge they exhibit in their areas of work.
In order to assert her authority at this other charity organisation, competent and qualified staff members are asked to rewrite activity reports as a way of belittling them.
Consequently, the employees’ morale has been reduced to zero.
Where in this world do we have human resources managers being sidelined during recruitment processes?
Yet this is exactly what is happening at the said charity organisation in one of our oldest high-density suburbs.
While we all thought that they have time to listen to each other at their workplace – given the name of the organisation – it has come to Blabber’s attention that there is a boss there who tosses everyone around, depending on her mood.
Typical of such managers, she claims to know everything from Monitoring and Evaluation, Finance, Administration and even Programming.
lt is said this lady seems to have a bone to pick with men as they are mostly the victims of her unbridled scorn.
However, that doesn’t mean other female employees are spared.
While the said organisation has lost some crucial funding due to her attitude, she blames other staff members for her faults.
Two female staff members were recently relived of their duties after she abused her status as a manager to influence the organisation’s leadership to do away with them.
Such managers are better off working with unqualified and incompetent staff who can jump at their every whim.
Yours Truly will not talk about how she influences the organisation’s recruitment procedures to accommodate her relatives.
Blabber could go on and on about her insecurities and incompetence, but Yours Truly will give her a chance to change her ways and give fellow workmates the respect they deserve.
I rest my case, for now.
