TelOne Centre for Learning general manager and renowned facilitator Mr Cleopas Chiketa has been recognised among the 100 Best Global Coaching Leaders.

He received an award at the 25th Anniversary of the HRD Congress in Mumbai, India last week.

Mr Chiketa has already been credentialed by the International Association of Facilitators, a United States registered global institution.

Having been stirred  by Coca-Cola during his service with Delta Corporation Ltd, when he was trained under the Right Execution Daily programme as a (RED Coach), he  was introduced to a coaching model called the GROW Model which he started to employ for effective results achievement.

He was further trained by the CIPD in London on Coaching and Organisation Design and this led to more discovery and further enrolled for the Master of Management Business Executive Coaching with Wits Business School.

The programme grounded him in the field of Business Executive Coaching and he was then exposed to Coach Supervision from renowned coaches in South Africa.

Mr Chiketa was listed under the Who is Who of Professionals USA in 2012 and was also awarded the Best Manager under the Delta/Mandel MDP 2008 which was comprised of more than 5 companies.

Together with like-minded coaches he spearheaded the formation of the Business and Life Coaches Zimbabwe and became the founding president of the association.

He is part of coaches from Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Uganda, Zambia and Ghana who are working towards the revitalisation of the coaching approach to leadership in Sub-Saharan Africa.

The association meets on line and discuss about coaching interventions to be provided in Africa to create a sustainable continent through leadership enhancement.

His core business is to work with the youths and develops them for a greater future.

He holds BSc. Hons Human Resources Management, M. Com Strategic Management and Corporate Governance, as well as a Programme in Knowledge Management from University of Stellenbosch Business School in South Africa. He is also a holder of a Diploma in Training Management and Higher Diploma in HRM with the Institute of People Management of Zimbabwe.

He was also trained in various programmes by SAB Miller and Coca Cola under the Delta Corporation Group. – BH24.
