PICTURE yourself as a law enforcement officer manning a roadblock during one of those dark overcast cold nights when the moon has gone to sleep and the stars are hidden behind the clouds.
You flag down a vehicle coming your way and the driver accordingly slows down as he approaches the roadblock.
Given your misgivings about a lone driver in the middle of the night, you instruct him to park his vehicle by the roadside for a brief interrogation.
As you walk towards the vehicle, the driver steps down and both driver and the vehicle disappears into thin air. Get me right, it was not driven away, it simply disappears from your eyes right before you.
While this sounds like a script from one of those bloodcurdling, scary moments plucked from Halloween blockbuster horror movies, this is what our dear law enforcers had to go through at this roadblock near this other tertiary institution.
Whatever the causes of these larger-than-life incidences, Blabber remains shell-shocked.
Yours Truly now understands that deployments at the roadblock have since stopped especially at night as similar incidence are recurring, thereby endangering the same people who are supposed to protect us.
While scientists say there is no evidence that ghosts really exist, there are plenty of people who believe in these spirits of the dead.
Even if you are not a fan of paranormal activities, some of the spookiest locations are still worth your time, more so if this is along the way you use to and from home.
The telltale signs of a ghost are not pleasant at all and vary from temperature in the room suddenly getting chilly, hearing unexplained creaking of stairs, doors opening and closing on their own, hearing the sound of soft whispers when no one is near, your pets starting to act strangely or unexplained smell filling the room.
