SPAR Mutare officially reopened its doors to the public last Saturday, amid pomp and fanfare within the community.

Mr Moses Chihuri of SPAR Zimbabwe made the announcement yesterday.

“We are delighted to announce the re-opening of SPAR Mutare. This follows close on the heels of the official opening last week in Harare of SPAR Arcadia, and the reopening of SPAR Goldenstairs. SPAR Zimbabwe is definitely open for business in the new dispensation and we will continue growing and moving at this pace,” he said.

SPAR Mutare closed for refurbishment on February 5, 2018 and has undergone a complete transformation in over two weeks.

The new look store boasts of a modern, clean look that has become the signature look for the SPAR corporate stores across the country.

The magnificent new look is complimented by an all-new equipment and lighting.

“We have been working round the clock with our design and projects teams, as well as a plethora of service providers, suppliers and consultants. It has been all-hands on deck in our SPAR family to get the Mutare store and the other two in Harare up and running in record time,” Mr Chihuri said.

“The new stores are newer, bigger and better, with a great new look and feel, as well as a wider product range and great opening specials,” he said.

Considerable investment has gone into SPAR Mutare, and customers will be delighted with the elegant new design, wider range of products and competitive pricing.

SPAR Zimbabwe is 100 percent indigenous and is committed to working with local communities and suppliers.

“We work closely with local producers to source as much as possible as close to home as possible. Fresh is always best, said Mr Chihuri.

SPAR’s message for 2018 is “Better Together”.

“At SPAR we believe in community, family and in working together for a better result. We are very excited about the future in Zimbabwe and we look forward to doing great things together”.

SPAR Zimbabwe is part of a wider SPAR family of 46 countries on four continents, employing over 350 000 people in over 12,500 stores spread across the world.
