CELEBRATED gospel musician Blessing Shumba has been appointed brand ambassador of the fast growing Ring Driving School, which opened a new branch in Mutare last Friday. Ring Driving School proprietor, Mr Onias Sanangura, confirmed the development during the colourful official opening ceremony that was held at the company premises in the eastern border city. Mr Sanangura, who hails from Manicaland, said the initiative to open a branch in Mutare was a way of assisting in the development of his home area.

“I think this initiative was long overdue for us as Ring Driving School simply because I come from this area. Apart from the business sense of it, this is a way of assisting in the development of my home area. I really hope we will have a fruitful working relationship with all key stakeholders in Mutare and beyond.

“In the same breadth, we have our own Blessing Sumba as a brand ambassador of Ring Driving School. He is a well known musician whose music transcends social boundaries,” he said.

Shumba expressed gratitude for being appointed brand ambassador for the company.

“It is my singular honour and pleasure to be appointed brand ambassador for Ring Driving School. This is something I never expected. It is always good when you have people around you appreciating the value of the work that you do. I can only thank God and hope that the people of Mutare and Manicaland at large will embrace Ring Driving School.

“In this age, we do not want to have people that cannot drive when we have client-oriented companies like Ring Driving School in our midst,” said Shumba.

Ring Driving School operations manager, Mrs Letty Mucheri, said they expected to perform well in Mutare given that their company offered competitive rates.

“We are driven by the need to develop the community that we operate in hence our competitive rates. This is the reason we have no doubt that we will perform well in Mutare just like we have done in all the areas that we have been operating. In Mutare we have started with a small fleet that caters for Class Four and Class Two driving learners but we will certainly increase to meet the demand if need be,” she said.

Ring Driving School has branches in Harare, Chitungwiza and Bulawayo.
