A CHIMANIMANI family was left counting losses after robbers pounced on them and made off with nearly US$10 000 and an assortment of household property.

“Robson Mutambara (35) was at home when five unknown men pounced. The robbers assaulted Debra Tsverukai (36) and Lydia Manenji before getting away with various household goods and US$9 350 and 200 Rand. They drove off in the victim’s car,” said Inspector Chananda.
