ONE of Mutare’s leading tourism and accommodation facilities, Skyview Hotel, has spread its wings to offer unique traditional foods in an open restaurant.

The hotel last Friday launched the Skyview Culture Grill which caters for grilled and traditional foods.

The launch ceremony was attended by several hoteliers from across the Eastern Highlands.

“We are in a period where safety comes first. Guests still need to dine out, but in a more cautious manner, hence the open grill concept.

“The open restaurant ensures the safety of guests,” said co-director, Mr Kuda Mugwagwa.

He added that Manicaland is a tourism hub that should capitalise on its rich flora and fauna to promote domestic tourism through unique and exciting packages.

Mrs Rutendo Mugwagwa, the hotel’s co-director chipped in, “Working together in the tourism industry bears fruits. We are intertwined, working together as a team. Through unity, brand Zimbabwe will grow. Nothing should stop our expansion, even during this Covid-19 era,” she said.
