LIFE for folks in Nyanga District is set to change for the better following the completion of high impact projects in the communities, using resources from the devolution funds allocated to rural district councils by Government.
Nyanga Rural District Council chairperson Mrs Margret Nyahoda said the local authority has commissioned clinics, installed street lights and procured a utility truck for use during service delivery utilising the devolution funds.
The local authority received $10,2 million from the more than $140 million disbursed to Manicaland’s rural and urban 10 local authorities for devolution programmes that have seen a number of community projects being rolled out.
