REBUILD Sakubva Trust will hand-over the newly refurbished Sakubva Beithall to the community tomorrow. The hall which was crying for a fresh coat of paint and refurbishment was renovated thanks to a voluntary trust organisation, Rebuild Sakubva Trust.
The refurbishing of Sakubva Beit Hall project started in October last year and funds for the project were mobilised from voluntary individual members and organisations within the trust.
Mrs Lucia Nkomo, president of RESA, said they would begin marketing the building after the official hand-over.
“Tomorrow, RESA is handing over Sakubva Beit Hall to the council and community for use. We are hoping that it will provide the community with a platform to hold meetings, conferences and trainings.
“Besides that, the building will also increase the face-value of Sakubva,” said Mrs Nkomo.
“A lot of work was done to bring the hall to its current status and we want everyone to celebrate this achievement. The Sakubva community should embrace the hall as it is their hall and we are encouraging them to use it wisely,” she added.
