MANICALAND yesterday recorded 46 recovery cases of Covid-19, figures released by the Ministry of Health and Child Care showing the daily highlights reveal.
According to the figures, this is the second highest number of recovery cases among all the country’s 10 provinces, only behind Matabeleland with 58.
This takes Manicaland’s cumulative number of recovery cases to 28 999.
The province yesterday also recorded nine new infection cases, which were all local.
Manicaland has 156 active Covid-19 cases.
The total number of infections now stands at 29 7111.
No deaths related to the pandemic were recorded yesterday.
Meanwhile, the country’s national recovery rate remains at 97 percent while active cases have fallen to 1 876.
A total of 6 255 529 people have so far been inoculated with the first dose of Covid-19 vaccination, while 4 591 947 have received the second jab.
847 906 have been vaccinated with the third dose.
