CHOLERA has killed 19 people from the 3 299 cases recorded across the country so far, the Ministry of Health and Child Care has said.
This represents a case fatality rate of 0,69 percent.
As of yesterday, Zimbabwe had recorded 3 299 cases, with 19 recoveries and 19 deaths.
Manicaland Province reported the highest number of cholera cases, with 1 343 cases; which is just over a third of the total.
Chipinge and Chimanimani districts are some of the cholera hotspots.
The second highest number of cholera cases has been reported in Harare Province, with 1 301.
