My mother, my heroine A mother is a shoulder to lean on, the sun after a cold and rainy day

The ManicaPost

Tinashe Mandigo

No words can describe her,

She is simply the best and outstanding.

She has spent many sleepless nights tending to me when l felt sick.

My first chair was her lap,

My first food was her milk,

My first teacher was her,

My first restaurant was her kitchen.

A shoulder to lean on, the sun after a cold and rainy day,

Yes, she may scold me but it is in my best interests.

No gift is enough to thank her,

For raising me and giving me life.

She wishes nothing but the best for me,

And she is the greatest gift God could have given me,

So l love and cherish her, for there is no other like her.

Tinashe Mandigo is a Form 2 student at St Joseph High School
