AN array of local artistes from across all genres are expected to grace the Rozvi Sports Bar second anniversary celebrations to be held in the sprawling high-density suburb of Dangamvura tomorrow. The Sports Bar, popularly known as Creche Yemadhara, will be celebrating two years of existence.

Since its inception, the watering hole, which is situated at Matongo Business Centre, has provided undiluted entertainment through hosting celebrated emcees and musicians. Artistes to perform are jazz sensation Steve Chikotie, budding Zim-dancehall whizkid, Diamond Kid, Traditional music ensemble, Ntswai Ntswai, 20-year-old sound movement Tuff Nuff, Ras Blue and Mac Ali.

One of the organisers, Unganai Marumbwa, said it was all systems go and invited pleasure seekers and fun lovers to be part of the grand celebrations.

“We are delighted to reach two years of providing quality entertainment. We have grown in leaps in bounds as an entity, thanks to our patrons as well as musicians who always make sure that our watering hole is a place to be especially during weekends. The celebrations coincide with the completion of the bar’s refurbishment process,” he said.

The bar drew more revellers this year after the introduction of old school sessions hosted by sound movement, Tuff Nuff. The sessions have proved popular with revellers in the suburb. The movement, which specialises in old and new school music, is led by veteran wheel spinner DJ Ranga who boasts more than 20 years experience on the turn tables.
