HIE there everyone
Whoooooo this week is crazy for me, I can’t even deal with anything! Anyway, I hope you are all well.
This week, I had a question from a lady who sent me a photo of herself. She was not exaggerating when she said….. Hi, Anastasia. Please, help me. I just got married and my husband says I need to make an effort to dress a little more fashionable, especially now that I am married. She said she gave up trying to find things to suit her because she has big feet (size 10), long fingers, long legs (height over 6ft), short body, long arms, masculine figure, broad shoulders and so forth.

Like I said, I looked at the photo and yes I saw everything you said my dear, but I also saw a very attractive woman. She could have been a model and a very successful one if she has chosen too. I think the problem here is that you have spent many years looking at the negatives of your body rather than the positives.

Anyway, let us see what advice we can give you…….
First and foremost, I would suggest you wear clothing with softer material. Tall women tend to want to wear clothes that are solid and more firmer. But that will only serve to make you look more masculine.Softer material will add that feminine look to your body and may serve to make you feel in yourself more feminine.

The trick to making one’s body look shapely is to define your waist. No matter how big or thin you are, a defined waist makes your body look better. So if you do not have a waist use large belts to help give the illusion of a waist. Also wear clothes with a waist band it has the same effect.
You have legs for days, so show them. I don’t mean naked legs. I mean do not despise the fact that you have legs that go on and on, yet you have a top body half that looks like it has been squashed in a bag. Show off the length of your legs in fitting denims.Straight trousers is great.

Fitted trousers will look great on you. Fitted trousers always elongate one’s legs making your legs look slimmer than they actually are. I know you probably do not want your legs to look longer because you say your top of your body is short. But do not punish your positive areas because of your negative areas. Rather enhance the good area which is your legs while minimising the extent of the top half of your body.

If you have a good shaped calf, try wearing skirts and dresses that fall just above your knee or just above your calf. Even mid-calf could look nice with the right kind of dress or skirt.

Turtle necks will look great on you my dear, and this winter is perfect for you to acquire at least two of those if you can. Believe it or not in summer you should go for sleeveless tops or dresses, which will look great on your broad shoulders. But do not get me wrong, sleeveless is different to thin strips. Avoid spaghetti straps as well, they will make you look to muscly. Avoid shirts unless they go into your waist, because they will make you look like a male.

Avoid square shaped blouses orjackets, they will only make you look like a ruler in a cardboard box or like a man.
You probably do not have large breasts, so something that cups you at thewaist will give you a hip and asizeable looking bust.
Wearing dresses above your knee, but below the thigh muscle will give you shape on our calf.

You will not believe me, but flat shoes probably make you look frumpy and flat footed. You may be surprised to know that kitten heels and 4 inch heels will make you look absolutely striking. Yes they will both make you look even taller, but since when is being a tall woman a problem in this world.
