Do not throw stones from your glass house Towntalk with Blabbermouth

The ManicaPost

THE higher a monkey climbs up the tree, the more it exposes its filthy behind, so they say.

This is the reason why Blabber succumbed to the temptation of leaving everything else and delving into the issue of that other political turncoat who uses every opportunity he gets to accuse everyone except himself of looting diamonds.

Everyone knows he is heavily involved in the corrupt activities going on in that nearby and largely underdeveloped area where the precious mineral is being extracted.

I’m talking about that political party returnee, a chameleon in his own right, who is addicted to singing for his supper.

Some of us thought that being an ordinary card carrying member would force him to repent.

Ever since his return after months of hibernation, Blabber thought the guy had learnt a lesson or two on how to peacefully co-exist with others, but alas, it appears like bad habits die hard.

In the name of the political party he pretentiously serves, he has been breaking the law at every turn.

We have listened to him bitterly complaining about how diamonds are being siphoned in broad daylight by dealers and their runners.

We have heard him crying foul over the loopholes in our security system, arguing that such laxity allows the plundering of the precious and finite resources.

Indeed, we have paid attention as he points fingers at fellow politicians and dealers.

Blabber is disturbed by how this politician ignores his own dirty hands.

In fact, Yours Truly is now convinced the fella makes so much noise to divert attention and cover up for his own shenanigans.

Who knows, maybe just like his Ndau name suggests, perhaps he wants to eat alone.

But then the guy deserves this unsolicited piece of advice when you live in a glass house, please stop throwing stones.

As l sign off, a gentle reminder to you dear reader, Covid-19 is real.

Keep washing your hands and observing physical distancing.

There is no room for Covid-19 prevention fatigue.

I rest my case, for now!
