A CROSS-DRESSING 18-year-old Gombakomba teenager was left with egg on his face after he was caught red-handed stealing a female undergarment at a church conference last week on Sunday.
Blessed Mariwo was subsequently searched and was found in possession of three more pairs of female underwear.
He revealed that he is a cross-dresser and claimed that evil spirits drive him to wear female underwear.
“I did not steal it. Since it is wet, it stuck on me as I was passing by the laundry line. I am not a thief,” said Mariwo before the searched.
The stolen wet pair of female underwear were, however, recovered from Mariwo after his wet trousers sold him out.
“Please do not beat me up. I am being used by evil spirits. It was not my intention to steal the underwear, I do not know what happened. All I know is that the underwear ended up in my trousers,” he begged for mercy from the church members who had apprehended him.
During a Hope Alive Christian Assembly conference at Piki Business Centre in Gombakomba, a female congregant realised that her wet undergarment had disappeared from the laundry line.
When she combed the area, she noticed that the front part of Mariwo’s trousers was wet. She confronted him, thereby leading to the recovery of the stolen underwear.
A villager, Marshal Munorwei, begged the men of cloth who were present to pray for the teenager, claiming that he is in the habit of stealing ladies’ undergarments and putting them on.
