PRESIDENT Mnangagwa has relaxed the Covid-19 national lockdown from Level Four to Level Two, resulting in business operating hours and curfew times being extended.

The President announced the new measures this afternoon, saying business hours are now from 8am to 7pm and curfew from 10pm to 5am.

Inter-city travel has resumed, with observance of public health measures.

Bottle stores are now permitted to sell liquor for off-site consumption from 10am to 4pm, while beerhalls and night clubs remain closed.

Only 50 percent of the staff are allowed in the offices at workplaces.

While low-risk sporting activities will take place, those in the medium to high-risk category need to obtain approval before hand.

The Level Two lockdown will be reviewed again in a fortnight.
