MUTARE City Rovers and Tenax have settled for draws in their league matches since 2015, but the two teams will clash in a potentially explosive Eastern Region Division One league fixture set for Sakubva Stadium tomorrow (Saturday).

Mutare City Rovers and Tenax are occupying fifth and seventh positions respectively on the current 2017 Eastern Region Division One League log table.

Gusha Bhora, as City Rovers are fondly referred to, have played six matches so far this season, winning half of that, drawing once and losing twice. Tenax, who have nine points so far, have played five matches, won three and lost two.

The two teams are separated by a solitary point. Mutare City Rovers have endeared themselves with a good number of football followers in the city following their promotion and subsequent relegation from the top-flight league last season, while Tenax FC has created more enemies than friends for themselves for their below average performance throughout the season, only to up their game whenever they face Mutare Premiership promotion aspirants.
