Black Rhinos…..(0) 1
Caps United…….(1) 1
WASTEFUL Black Rhinos had none but themselves to blame for failing to get maximum points against CAPS United in a Castle Lager Premiership clash at Sakubva Stadium today.
William Manodo proppeled Caps United into the lead just a minute after kick off.
He had the easy task of tapping home from close range after getting to the end of a fine exchange between Dennis Dauda and Phenias Bhamusi.
12 minutes into the encounter, Denzel Mutudza had an opportunity to level terms for Black Rhinos but placed his effort way wide of target as he failed to connect a tantalising Peace Makaha cross from the right.
In fact, Mutudza wasted a lot of clear-cut scoring opportunities especially in the first half.
With a little bit precision, well positioned Manondo could have grabbed a brace and win the match for his team a minute into added time when he received a low pass from the exciting Bhamusi but directed his shot above the bar.
Six minutes before regulation time, Rhinos found the equaliser through Allan Gahadzikwa.
