Health and child care deputy minister Dr John Mangwiro says a target of 126 000 people have to be vaccinated against Covid-19 in Mutare as it is a border city exposed to risk by cross-border activities.
Speaking during a meeting with various stakeholders in Mutare recently, Dr Mangwiro urged players in the tourism sector, the business community and government departments to encourage their employees and clientele to get vaccinated to ensure safety for the city.
He added that the health department in Manicaland will open several centers and mobile health services to enable people gain easy access to the vaccination services.
