THE Zimbabwe Consolidated Diamond Company is on the hunt for a new chief executive officer following the sacking of Dr Moris Bekezela Mpofu earlier this year over reports of a litany of allegations of corruption and abuse of office.

Dr Mpofu was fired along with six other senior executives namely chief finance officer Mr Charles Gambe, supply chain executive Dr Newton Demba, chief human resources executive Mrs Masciline Chikoore, engineering executive Engineer Andrew Murwisi, audit executive Dr Cleopatra Mutisi and chief security officer Clemence Munoriarwa.

Industrial Psychology Consultants (Pvt) Ltd has been contracted by the Zimbabwe Consolidated Diamond Company (Pvt) Ltd (ZCDC) to recruit and select a suitable candidate for the position of the chief executive officer.

The company flighted an advert in Press this week, which emphasised that the overall job purpose is “to provide leadership and direction in the growth of the business as well as to deliver value to the shareholder and other stakeholders in a sustainable manner”.
