HILLSIDE Golf course was a hive of activity recently as participants braved the searing heat to partake in the inaugural Mutare Golf Afternoon in a rare feat for golfers in the eastern border city, thanks to William Bain and Company Holdings.

More than 30 golfers took part in the event.

William Bain and Company Holdings Mutare branch manager Brighton Matsaira was satisfied with the turnout and pledged to have more tournaments at the same venue in due course.

“We are happy with the turnout that we got for the Mutare Golf Afternoon. This is part of our community social responsibility as William Bain and Company Holdings Mutare.

‘‘It is also one of the ways that we think we can reach out to potential clients and we are happy to have started well. We are hoping to have more similar tournaments and even much bigger events here,” he said.

William and Bain and Company recently reopened their Mutare branch as a part of their strategic drive to efficiently and effectively serve all customers across Manicaland and beyond.
