THE stage has been set for a potential thriller, as celebrated Zim dancehall chanter, Enzo Ishall, will be performing for the first time at the open air joint tomorrow (Saturday).

 

The dreadlocked chanter is expected to wow the crowd with epic songs which made him a household name such as Ahoyi, Zuva Risingasvike, Chiziviso, Chinese Wake Up, Nguva Inondirwadza, Ndiwonereiwo and Finesse, among other hits.

 

The show comes with a lot of festivities coined for all age groups as there will be jumping castles, face painting, quad bikes and braai facilities.

 

Deejays Spice and Lampy will provide entertainment on the turntables before, during and after Enzo’s performance.

 

Revellers will part with US$5 and US$3 for their kids.

Club Mandisa

Situated at the heart of Mutare’s City Centre, the venue will host revered Zim dancehall singer, Jah Master tonight (Friday) in a show dubbed ‘Winter Warmer Extravaganza’.

 

The chanter who rose to fame with the plug track Hello Mwari is expected to send dancehall lovers into a frenzy with hits like Hwahwa, Ndiri Mutadzi, Mbinga, Kasweet 16, Tenda Mwari and Ndarota, among others.

 

He will be supported by Harare dancers who will strut their stuff on the stage.

PaBako

The newly-assembled Bako Band which comprise six members has taken the Mutare entertainment scene by storm.

 

The band will play renditions at their home ground over this weekend.

 

Jah Master

 

The versatile group is popular among old skools sungura and Afro-jazz music fans.

MiCasa Bar and Grill

DJ Frazer and DJ Kartel will this weekend headline the MiCasa Happy hours which have become popular among patrons as they will be treated to diverse music and discounted prices on booze and selected meals.

J1 Usanga (Chipinge)

The watering hole situated in the farming town will host upcoming artistes and deejays in a gig dubbed ‘Mutape Wauya Expo’.

 

Bonny T headlines the event and he will be supported by Wenyumas, Signal Wemayuts, Jah Actor, Jah Simz and Link Bee.

 

On the decks, DJ Trigger and DJ Blingz will take turns to entertain imbibers. Revellers will pay an admission fee of US$2.

Liquor Hub

A recently-opened liquor and entertainment hub situated in Chikanga introduces some Karaoke nights this weekend where classic music and golden oldies will be played while imbibers enjoy an assortment of alcohol.
